Resolution Tips and Tricks

Oh my god it’s already 2016! It seems like everything is going by so fast!  I’m not sure about everyone else but for me, here’s the drill… I make a list of resolutions and a month later I have totally forgotten about them! Well here are some tips and tricks to help you!

Inspiration Board: The whole point of an inspiration board is to fill the board with pictures that remind and motivate you to keep up with your resolutions! It can also remind you of your 2016 goals throughout the year!                                                    Materials:

  • Canvas (some kind of board)
  • Pictures of your goals (ex. goal-exsercise picture- treadmill)
  • Pushpins

Directions: Print out the pictures of your resolutions and pin them to your board! Voila! The inspiration board is super easy and is super cute! This is the way to go if you need to be reminded of your resolutions!

Fitness Sticks: The idea of the fitness sticks is to have the jar pick out what workout you will do instead of copping out and doing a super easy workout! This will push you and also help you accomplish your goal of exercising more!                                                                                                                                                     Materials:

  • Popsicle Sticks
  • Mason jar (any kind of container/jar)
  • Marker

Directions: On the popsicle sticks write out different workouts you could do! Some examples are 20 pushups, 10 crunches, 50 jumping jacks, or a 30 minute jog! You put the finished popsicle sticks in the jar and that’s it! This is optional but you can also decorate the jar to make it look more colorful and also make you want to pick from the jar! This is so so easy and affordable for everyone and the best part is that you are exercising and challenging yourself!

Junkfood Dump: This isn’t exactly a craft but this is so helpful!! Although this may be difficult it’s time, get rid of all those tempting cookies and sugar foods! This will make it easier for you to eat healthier, so when you are craving the junkfood nothing will be there for you to eat!!                                          Materials:

  • trash bag
  • commitment

Directions- Go through your pantry and fridge and dump out all the junk food! That’s it and trust me it works!

Sticky Note Mayhem: Pretty much put stick notes all over your house reminding you of your resolutions! All you will need is some sticky notes and a marker and start writing!!!
